Doireann Garrihy and Mark Mehigan are officially husband and wife.
They tied the knot in a gorgeous ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest on Friday in Kildare.
It was certainly the wedding of the year!
And of course, after the big day comes the honeymoon.
Doireann and Mark jetted off on Sunday just two days after tying the knot.
Mark shared a snap of their matching yellow bags ready to go to the airport early on Sunday morning, admitting: “Not the most serene start we’ve ever had but we are off.”
Meanwhile Doireann was much more relaxed as she enthused: “Off on an adventure with my husband.”
How cute!
So where did they head off to on their adventure?
Copenhagen of course.
Mark shared a snap of the iconic colourful houses along the Nyhavn canal in the Danish capital with the caption: “First stop of the adventure.”
They started off Monday feeling fresh after a relaxing Sunday in their chic “hygge” boutique hotel. They headed off for a delicious breakfast with Mark saying they were “open” to Copenhagen recommendations.
