Reprising his role once again as The Penguin, Colin Farrel has been spotted filming for the Batman spin-off series of the same name, in New York this week.
That’s right, a dramatically transformed Colin stepped out on set wearing elaborate prosthetics and in costume, making the Dubliner completely unrecognisable!
The new HBO Max limited series will pick up the story where last year’s box office hit, The Batman left off on the big screen.
After receiving the green light on the new series last March, Colin revealed that he, “couldn’t be more excited” about it.

As well as starring as the title character, Colin will also serve as one of the executive producers on the new series alongside The Batman director Matt Reeves.
“The world that Matt Reeves created for The Batman is one that warrants a deeper gaze through the eyes of Oswald Cobblepot (aka The Penguin),” Colin previously said in a statement.
“I couldn’t be more excited about continuing this exploration of Oz as he rises through the darkened ranks to become The Penguin.”
While in another interview with ExtraTv, Colin also revealed that the new show will pick up a week after the events of The Batman, which saw Gotham City flooded following a terrorist attack plotted by the Riddler.
“I read the first script for the first episode and it opens up with my feet splashing through the water in Falcone’s office. Even just that alone when I read it, I thought, ‘Oh jeez!'”.
So, when can we can expect to see it on our screens?
Well, considering it’s currently filming it could arrive sometime next year, and further expand Matt Reeves’ Batman universe ahead of his Robert Pattinson sequel.
But, if you can’t wait until then to get your Colin content, you can catch him on our screens this weekend at the Academy Awards where he is shortlisted for Best Actor for his performance in the Banshees of Inisherin
