Dancing on Ice star, Brianne Delcourt has announced that she is quitting the show after ten years, The professional skater has spent a decade paired up with celebs, and spending weeks in training with them.
In the 2020 series of the popular show Brianne was paired up with Irish footballer, Kevin Kilbane. Love blossomed between the pair and he proposed before the series had finished.
Speaking with Hello Magazine about her decision, she said; “It has been a back-and-forth question mark in my mind for some time now. The hardest part will be missing my DoI family and I have so much to thank the show for, including introducing me to my absolute soulmate in Kevin.”
Brianne, 39, now wants to focus on planning their upcoming nuptials rather than spending weeks at a time in training.
“I’m 39 – 40 in February – and I’ve been on the road for so long and as a working mum – a single mum. I really had to work hard for everything on my own. The show has been a huge part of my life and part of Gracie’s too.”
Last month the pair bought a beautiful new abode together, overlooking a lake.
The happy couple, found their forever home during lockdown and sharing a snap on social media of the pair and her daughter Gracie, they posed alongside a sign which reads: ‘We said yes to the address!’
Beaming with pride, Brianne added, “We bought our lake side dream house.”
It seems like this is an entirely new chapter for both Kevin and Brianne. Posting to Instagram the skater said; “I will forever be grateful for all the amazing memories with my time on @dancingonice.”
