And as soon as she returned home she was welcomed by her friends and family hosting a sweet engagement party.
Her mother couldn’t hide her emotions as she handed her a bottle of champagne, flowers and a card.
“Mum’s not able for words yet,” she captioned the sweet moment.
In another shot, she posed with a friend with a “Bride to Be” sash around her as they enjoy some bubbles.
She joked, “Eyes are falling out of my head with tiredness but so happy.”
And the celebrations didn’t stop there! Oh no, when she returned to the Sculpted by Aimee offices the following morning she was met with confetti and balloons.
“What a reception today in work,” she enthused as she showed off the decor all for her!
She was given a little veil as they enjoyed a party with her work crew in the Irish sunshine.
Aimee shared the news that her husband-to-be, John Greene, popped the question in Mexico earlier this month.
Posting pictures of them beaming at the camera with her stunning ring in shot, she wrote, “Last night while waiting on the sunset in Holbox, I said yes.”
The pair, who have been through thick and thin together, were immediately inundated with congratulatory messages from pals.
Aimee previously told VIP Magazine how they met and it was long before Sculpted by Aimee was around.
“I met him in my final year of college…so he’s actually been there for the whole journey. I think it is so important when you work for yourself and take these risks that you’re with someone who believes in what you’re doing and believes in what you’re capable of.”
“It means you never meet that barrier of “Oh, do you think that’s a good idea?” It’s literally just “Yep if you believe in it, let’s go for it.” That’s been so important as well.”
