A massive congratulations is in order as broadcaster Zara King has announced her engagement.
The journalist shared the good news on Instagram this weekend. The proposal took place in picturesque Connemara.
Posting a video, she wrote: “A little bit of news from #Connemara this weekend”
The video showed the couple’s scenic drive to a stunning lake, followed by a photo of Zara showing off her beautiful ring.

Zara has kept her relationship private, and doesn’t share the identity of her partner.
However, the Virgin Media news reader confirmed her romance in May, and the couple have been together for over a year.
They ran in similar circles and had mutual friends but connected when he reached out online.
Of course the bride-to-be received plenty of well-wishes in the comment section.
