Gavin James surprised some fans last night when he jumped in as a bar tender in a Galway pub.

The singer was playing an outdoor gig in Galway for the International Arts Festival.

Gavin shared a video of the packed gig on Instagram, adding that last time he played in Galway it was to a much smaller crowd.

Galway ! Last time I played a gig here it was for 300 people ! Tonight was amazing thank youuuu xx

“Galway! Last time I played a gig here it was for 300 people ! Tonight was amazing thank youuuu,” he said in the post.

After the gig Gavin headed to the Roisin Dubh on Dominick Street. But instead of enjoying a pint for himself, the singer jumped behind the bar to serve his fans.

In a video, shared by the popular bar and music venue, Gavin can be seen behind the bar chatting to punters.

At least if Gavin gets tired of playing music he always has bartending to fall back on!
