Una Healy is the proudest mother we know.
She recently spoke about being a “single parent” to her two children – Aoife Belle and Tadhg.
So it was no surprise that she celebrated her daughter turning 11 this week in style.
She took to Instagram to share two gorgeous pictures of her “mini-me”.
“Happy 11th birthday Aoife Belle,” she wrote alongside a picture of her daughter looking at the camera.
In another shot, Aoife Belle can be seen hugging her mother with the caption reading: “My mini-me”.
We’re sure she had a great day celebrating her birthday!
The sweet messages come after Una spoke about life as a single parent.
“I am single and raising my two children, just like many other single parents – both men and women – doing a great job,” she told The Irish Mirror.
“I am a single parent. I don’t like the term single mother as it has negative connotations.”
Opening up about how she juggles her busy career and family life, the former Saturdays star highlighted the importance of seeking support.
“You can’t do it all by yourself. There is no shame in asking for help, be that from childcare, family or friends,” she added.
