Una Healy is a vision in her red gúna as she attended the Platinum VIP Style Awards.
“I’m delighted to be here, this is my third year at the Style Awards,” she tells VIP Magazine.
“I’m delighted to be back here and watching all the glamour and all the smiles. It’s such an exciting evening and it’s such a lovely event. I’m always so happy to be here.”
She jokes that her daughter, Aoife-Belle would love to attend the event.
“She loves horse riding, so she doesn’t mind mucking out and all of that. But she recently go to her first teenage disco and there big into the makeup, the lashes, the whole lot, the tan,” she tells us.
“I did her tan for her because she’s never worn fake tan before the disco. But she is bit more of a tomboy during the day, but she can always glam up at night…a bit like myself. I’d describe myself as a tomboy! We all have a bit of an alter ego when it comes to dressing up.”
We absolutely agree with her!
As for her summer plans, she will be working around her children, Aoife and Tadhg’s schedules when it comes to their sports.
“Aoife is going to be getting her holidays in a couple of weeks because she’s in secondary school. So I guess she’ll be spending an awful lot of her time helping out at the equastrian centre because she loves the horse riding,” she shares.
“My son is involved in all of the sports as well. But I’ll bring them on holidays, I was thinking maybe a cruise for a few days. Then I’ve lots of gigs over the summer.”
She tells us that she “just loves” perfoming!
“I’ve been doing it so long I don’t know anything else. I feel really comfortable on stage because I love it. I love entertaining people and having fun on stage. It’s my favourite place to be,” she tells us with the biggest smile.
Speaking about her setlist, she teases: “I do a bit of everything, I have my country side, I have my pop side. My last EP has got a dance-pop song leading out, then it goes into more serious singer-songwriter. I always have a bit of country in there too. It’s a bit of a mix!”
