Summer is here and we’re living for the longer evenings…as well as the sun that has been gracing us with her presence recently.
Of course, with summer comes the end of some of our favourite things.
Including The Late Late Show.
Yes, and Patrick Kielty has confirmed when his second season at the helm of the show will come to an end.

Taking part in the new TikTok “voice over” trend which sees the star of the video get irked by a cheeky narrator.
In the clip, Patrick can be seen causing havoc backstage at the Late Late as well as being annoyed by the narrator getting his age wrong.
The voiceover also reveals that the show will be coming to an end very, very soon.
Yes, it can be heard saying: “‘Join Paddy this Friday night for the last Late Late of the season before he finally tells the social media team to f**k off.”

Seriously, only one more show in the series before we say goodbye for the summer.
The time just flew in!
Patrick Kielty faced highs and lows during this season of the show, including the heartbreaking loss of his mother.
He paid an emotional tribute to her in the St Patrick’s Day Special, as he said she would have hated for him to miss the show.

“When you’re called Patrick, Saint Patrick’s Day is always special, and the person that I have to thank for that, and so much more is mum.
“Sadly, we lost her last weekend and I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took care of her and took care of our family this week. My mum watched this show religiously and she loved it so much, that she still kept watching even after I got the gig,” he shared through tears.
“In over 50 years, Mary never missed a Late Late show, and there was no way she’d want me to miss this one for her tonight.
“And so I couldn’t be prouder to stand here and say, This one’s for you, Mary.”
The Late Late Show airs this Friday at 9.35pm on RTÉ One
