After Ireland’s incredible victory at the Euros last night, stars came out in force to react to the news.

Like most people watching the match, some celebs were shocked, others in disbelief, but overall, everybody was absolutely thrilled.

People had smiles, and some tears, plastered to their faces when that final whistle blew, and simply couldn’t wait to share their thoughts on the win.

Robbie Keane couldn’t have been prouder last night, and shared a video of the team celebrating in Lille.

“One team… One nation… One dream… together we stand. And sing,” he said.

Hollywood A-lister, Gerard Butler took to Twitter and said, “Congrats to my mate Martin O’Neill and FA Ireland on qualifying for last 16 in #Euro2016. So wish I was there!”

Conor McGregor, a man who knows a good win when he sees it, was over the moon when Ireland scored their goal.

“YESSSS GET IN THERE!!!,” he said. “McLean is an ANIMAL! Ref is a rat. Brady, what a f***ing header. BUZZING! COME ON YOU BOYS IN GREEN!!!!”

One Direction’s Niall Horan was elated after the match, and took to Snapchat to share a video of himself and his pals celebrating.

Storm Keating said, “Woohoo for Ireland! Nice win guys, congrats! #COYBIG #EURO2016”, while her hubby Ronan commented, “Nice to finally wake up in Oz to an Irish win in the euros. Congrats to all.”

Shane Filan wrote, “OMG!!! Cmonnn IRE! #Unreal”, and his former Westlife teammate Nicky Byrne said, “One of the best nights in Irish football. Scrapped, battled for everything. Robbie Brady from a fellow Baldoyle man, thank you!”

Bressie found himself slightly emotional and said, “Ah lads. Snot fest. Robbie Brady interview sponsored by Kleenex.”

And of course, we couldn’t leave out our president, who was without a doubt, the happiest person in Lille last night.
