Sinéad Kennedy always knows how to impress with her style.
Although she jokes that she pared it back this year for the Platinum VIP Magazine Style Awards.
“You come here, you spend the night just looking around at all the amazing outfits,” she gushes as we do some people watching on the red carpet.
“Oh to have that creative imagination, where did that come from? I love it. And I love that the Style Awards is the place to do that. And sure I came in a black suit. But what can you do?!”
She has us bowled over laughing as we chat to her.
Sinéad returned to our screens towards the end of last year on The Today Show after welcoming her son, Theo.
“I don’t feel like I’ve gone anywhere. It’s great to still be on the TV and still have a job that I love. I have no complaints!” she tells us with a smile.
“It’s always lovely. We’ve been very, very lucky. This is season 14. The viewing figures have been very, very high, the highest so far,” he shared.
“We try to keep it light, we try to keep it fun. There’s a lot of crazy things happening in the world right now, and we try to keep that away from us, to let people know The Today Show is a fun place to be, a happy place to be. It’s a place where you can forget about your woes for a small while away.”
She’s the proud mother to four-year-old Indie and two-year-old Indie with her husband Conor, a naval officer based in Brussels with the European Defence Agency.
“My two are so great. And thanks to my mum who is minding them tonight, so that I could come out and be here. They’re great, thank God!” she tells us.
