Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan have become one of 2024’s hottest couples.
They’ve made their red carpet debuts, they’ve supported one another on social media and, of course, Barry even starred in Sabrina’s music video for Please, Please, Please.
It’s safe to say they’re obsessed with one another.
And we’re obsessed with them.
However, they have not spoken publicly about their relationship with Sabrina dodging the questions about the Irish man in most of her interviews.
When Sabrina sat down with Variety, she couldn’t help but gush about Barry. And we don’t blame her!
Speaking about getting Barry to star in her music video, she said: “He loved the song. He’s obsessed with the lyrics, and I’m so grateful for that.
“I don’t want to sound biased, but I think he’s one of the best actors of this generation. So getting to see him on the screen with my song as the soundtrack made the video better and all the more special.”
“The [dating] pool is the pool, and when you meet people that feel authentic and are so brilliant and amazing in every way, that’s what you do,” she said.
“Obviously, I write songs about exactly how I feel, so I guess I can’t be so surprised that people are interested in who and what those songs are about. That’s something that comes with the territory.”
