Late Late Toy Show host Ryan Tubridy has revealed the kind of children he wants as little helpers on the coveted Christmas show this year.
Yesterday RTE launched their nationwide search for children to participate in Ireland’s favourite night of the year, ranging from performers to toy demonstrators.
Speaking to the Independent at the auditions in Cork yesterday, Ryan admitted to that he loves to find the bold children- quite the opposite to what Santa wants!
“I love the children with the bold heads. They are more intelligent than anyone gives them credit for. They are thinking and messing and acting the maggot the whole time,” he said.
When asked about what kind of Christmas jumper he would be wearing this year, the broadcaster didn’t say too much, wanting to keep the revelation for the show on December 2nd. He did say though that it will be “mischievous.”
