Have you been enjoying the sun this week?

Well we certainly have at VIP HQ as we head into prep for this year’s Platinum VIP Style Awards. Yes we’re only weeks away! So have you got your vote in?

Here’s what else we’re loving this week…

…a salty snack

Is there anything better than a Hunky Dory?

Well, new flavours is definitely better. They’ve just luanched Thai Beef and Chilli Cheese Fries, two taste experiences that are equally irresistible.

With global street food culture continuing to influence Irish tastes, from food markets to restaurant menus, the Street Food range brings that same spirit of discovery to the snack aisle. Thai Beef delivers the fragrant, sweet-savoury heat of Thai street food, while Chilli Cheese Fries captures the rich and indulgent flavour of an American classic.

I’m obsessed!

…taking a cycle

I was recently down in Galway to explore the city like a local – from heading to The Crane for an amazing storytelling experience with Rab Fulton to dancing the night away at a gig at The Roisín Dubh!

But the highlight for me was spending Saturday morning cycling around on an e-bike tour. I am such a nervous cycler and was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do it. But our guide was so supportive and had me cycle alongside him.

I was flying by the end and it was such a fun way to see Galway!

…minding my redness

I have such bad redness to my face and I’m always trying to find a way to fix it.

So I was delighted to hear that Rosalique is spotlighting its expert-led, day-to-night skincare routine designed specifically for redness-prone and sensitive skin.

With rosacea affecting an estimated 10% of the Irish population, this routine takes a holistic approach, helping to calm, treat and support the skin barrier while delivering visible results and lasting comfort.

…bringing the spa home

I know everyone is obsessed with cold plunges right now, but why can’t we just enjoy ourselves? Why do we have to be plunging into cold water?

Thankfully, Aldi has a similar idea to mine.

Designed for at-home use, the new Intex Spa Pool €299.99 heats up to 40°C for full-body relaxation, features 100 high-powered bubble jets for massage-style comfort, and is sized for 2–4 adults, making it suitable for both recovery and everyday unwinding.

Whether it’s the invigorating shock of cold-water swimming or the restorative comfort of heat, recovery is personal – and now more accessible at home for all to enjoy. The Intex Spa Pool is available in stores nationwide from May 3rd.

…getting nostalgic

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is out and I am obsessed!

I was able to see an early screening of the film and it’s safe to say that they still have the same magic of the first film.

Twenty years after making their iconic turns as Miranda, Andy, Emily and Nigel—Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is in cinemas now.

…a dreamy facial

This week, I was treated to a gorgeous new facial in ORA. The LDM treatment is a favourite in Korean skincare.

The gentle treatment helps with acne, rosacea, eczema-prone skin, scarring, post-procedure recovery, cellulite, and overall rejuvenation.

It supports long-term skin health, which boosts collagen and elastin, improves circulation, calms inflammation, and reinforces the skin barrier.

The most important part for me is that is non-invasive and painless, with no needles, heat, or downtime. I was treated to a gorgeous time in the suite, with my therapist walking me through every step and helping me set up a new skincare routine.

…giving back

What a special cause!

Johnson’s Baby have been supporting Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) hospitals and urgent care centres for the last number of years and this year, their Johnson’s Baby Helping Hands Initiative will fund specialist training for healthcare professionals working directly with babies admitted to the Neonates Department.

Donations from every bottle of Johnson’s Baby sold in Tesco from May 5th goes towards the initiative – so there’s never been a better excuse to go shopping!

…a wellness retreat
