Top model Rosanna Davison has invoked the wrath of a politician in Galway.
The former Miss World has rattled a Galway East backbencher due to her remarks that milk is not good for you, according to The Connaught Tribune.
Deputy Paul Connaughton Jnr has hit out at the qualified nutritionist, who recently launched a new site packed full of healthy recipes, after she claimed that dairy products are linked to allergies and diseases.
And Rosanna may have to don her wellies and head to the West as he has demanded that she visit a dairy farm there to witness first-hand how dairy products are produced.
“She suggested that dairy products are linked to allergies and diseases but this is not the case from any research I have done into the industry. Milk is part of a well balanced diet,” Deputy Connaughton told the newspaper.
“I would like her to see at first-hand how dairy products are produced in the West of Ireland. I completely disagree with her claims linking dairy products to disease and allergies and I believe that people should eat dairy products as part of a healthy balanced diet,” he added.
This is not the first time the gorgeous blonde has rattled people with her nutrition comments.
Irish dairy farmers previously accused model Rosanna Davison of ‘spoofing’ for telling people dairy is bad for them.
Last year, the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers’ Association (ICMSA) were unhappy with what they deem the vegan model’s latest “ill-advised and scientifically illiterate denigration of dairy and meat foodstuffs”.
We’ll keep you posted if Rosanna does in fact head to Galway for a spot of cow-milking… VIP has no doubt she would do it with her trademark perfect hair and makeup aswell as a LBD & heels!
