Rosanna Davison has shared a beautiful and emotional tribute to Mother’s day on Instagram, posting a beautiful photograph of her holding her daughter Sophia on the day she was born.

Rosanna has recently opened up to VIP Magazine and on the Late Late Show on the struggles she went through trying to conceive and ultimately her decisions to use surrogacy. In total she revealed that she had fourteen miscarriages as she tried for a baby.
She also shared that āitās a lonely traumatic experienceā and that Motherās Day and Christmas were the hardest as Christmas especially is so child focused.
They named their little girl Sophia, after St Sofias Cathedral which they were staying beside in Kiev during the egg retrieval process.
When asked about why she decided to be so public with their surrogacy journey Rosanna said;
āwe want to give hope and inspiration to other couples who are in our situationā and that āitās a lonely road, a traumatic and difficult road for an awful lot of people.ā
