Pierce Brosnan was one of the biggest names in the nineties and the noughties when he took on the mantle of James Bond.
But to his youngest sons, 25-year-old Dylan and 21-year-old Paris, he was simply their father.
In fact, in a new joint interview, the boys confess that they had no idea that their dad was famous at all!
Instead, they believed his fans were just friends!

Speaking to GQ, Dylan confesses: “I always thought he had a lot of friends, growing up because people would come up to him in the street, and he’s like the nicest guy, so he talks to everyone for a really long time.”
Those friends, Dylan would learn when he got older were fans of the Irish actor who were delighted to have a run-in with him on the street.
The family moved to Hawai’i, which is where the two boys spent most of their childhoods to the delight of Pierce and his wife, Keely Shaye Smith.
While their parents opted to keep them out of the spotlight growing up, both Dylan and Paris have chosen professions that will force them into it.

Pierce admits that he doesn’t want his children to become actors as it’s “f**king hard work”, instead, Dylan has chosen to pursue music and Paris made headlines when he walked runways as a model for Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, and Moschino.
It looks like the next generation of Brosnans will definitely be just as iconic as their father!
