Coco Lodge clearly has an affinity for the Irish.
She was connected to Jack Keating after they both left the villa. Although Jack was quick to quash any romance rumours.
Now Irish reality star turned singer, Nicole O’Brien has gushed about the English gal. The pair have been close for six years after meeting when they originally auditioned for Love Island.
Nicola was originally meant to head into the second season of the show, with the singer telling VIP Magazine: “I was meant to do Love Island in 2016 but then my parents were like two days before I was meant to leave: You’re not doing it, absolutely not. After they said I could! I was raging for years on end!”
It was during the audition process that she met her now roommate and the pair have been thick as thieves ever since.
“We have lived together for three years,” Nicole tells us.
“I trained her, I trained her! I sat her down and give her the whole spiel. I’ve been in this industry for two years, here’s the handbook off you go.”
Like a proud mother hen, Nicole adds: “She’s done really well, she’s turned things around since she’s come out of it. I’m really proud of her. She’s smashing it, she’s a character.”
She can’t help laughing about the viral moment that saw Andrew La Page tell Tasha Ghouri about his relationship with Coco Lodge.
The clip of Andrew saying: “I licked a tit or whatever,” has now gone viral and Nicole is a big fan.
Despite being proud of her pal and getting her own start on Too Hot to Handle, Nicole is done with dating shows.
“I don’t want to do any more dating shows. I declined a lot of them over the last year and there’s been a good few. I am trying to get away from that. It’s so hard to get taken seriously in music if you do a dating show.”
