The passing of Nadia Forde’s mother last month has greatly impacted upon the grieving model, with her admitting her sad loss has changed how she views the world.

The 25-year-old, whose mum Berenice Paolozzi lost her battle with cancer in June, has finally opened up about how her sad loss has totally altered her outlook on life. Her searingly honest comments come a day after sharing an adorable throwback photo of the model-turned singer and her mum, which clearly shows where she got her good looks from.

Nadia admitted she took time off work in the past few months during which time her mother’s condition worsened, and had been spending more time in her hometown Dublin, rather than her new pad in London, where she is trying to further her career following her appearance on huge U.K show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

Speaking to OK Magazine, she said: “I’m doing alright. I’ve taken the last couple of months off. I’m back auditioning and I was going to release a single but I stopped because of the family stuff, so it’s all going to start again.”

“At times like these you just have to make sure you take time out for those moments in life. It’s changed my outlook, you take on a new perspective on life,” Nadia added.

“When you see someone lose their life you look at things differently. I’m not going to change my career but I’m going to be doing the things that make me happy.

“I’m making sure I’m cornering out enough time to spend with loved ones too as I never did before.”
