In just a few months the third season of Dancing with the Stars Ireland will be back on our screens.

And with training set to kick off in December, it’s only a matter of time before we learn about the full-lineup.

Mrs Brown’s Boys fans will be delighted with the first hotly tipped star rumoured to be joining the show.

Eilish O’Carrol who plays Winnie McGoogan on the show, is set to don her dancing shoes.

“Dancing With The Stars producers asked Eilish to be in season two but she had to turn them down because she was touring Australia last January with Mrs Brown,” a source revealed to the Sun.

“But this year the Mrs Brown’s cast are all on a break until late March when they launch Mrs Brown De Musical, so the planets are aligned.”

The 66-year-old has not yet commented on the rumour, but friends close to the actress say she’d definitely be up for it.

“Eilish has never danced professionally but she does enjoy dancing and can certainly look the part.

“She jokes that she is getting old enough to be Winnie McGoogan, but everybody knows she’s a much younger lady.”

“If the schedule fits this year, Eilish will definitely be on Dancing With the Stars.”

Eilish, who is Brendan O’Carroll’s sister is not the only person to be rumoured to be taking part.

TV presenter Diana Bunici also said she’d love to take part.

“I feel like if I was on a show like Dancing With The Stars I’d be properly immersed in it,” she told the Mirror.

Diana, who is Kodaline’s Steve Garrigan’s girlfriend, recently moved home to Ireland and said she’d definitely consider it.

“I’d absolutely consider it if I was approached. You learn a new skill and become part of a new TV family.”

Love Island star Shannen Reilly McGrath also hinted at being on the show.

The reality star said she’s working on an exciting project in the UK but would be keen to join DWTS.

“There’s one show in Ireland that I’d really like to do after I finish the UK project. I’ve been a dancer since a very young age and I had my own dance school, so I think that going on Dancing with the Stars would be perfect for me,” she told the Sun.

TV presenter Lisa Cannon also said she would take part in the third season on the show.

“Obviously I’ll be putting a word in his [Julian Benson, DWTS judge] ear about Dancing With the Stars, I’d love to do it,” she told The Mirror.

Who would you love to see on it?
