Morah Ryan has opened up about her daughter Lottie’s secret wedding.
Lorttie tied the knot to her longtime love Fabio Aprile last weekend, following a two year engagement.
The 2fm presenter and her partner of over 11 years said “I do” in an intimate ceremony attended only by their immediate family.
The couple were joined by Lottie’s mother Maura, brother Rex, sisters Bonnie and Babette, as well as Fabio’s close family members as they officially wed in a registry office in Dublin.
The 30-year-old revealed the news on 2FM’s Breakfast Republic, when host Keith Walsh asked her about her weekend.
“Yeah, I got married,” she said. “I’m a dark horse, I’m a sneaky thing I am.”
Lottie’s mum Morah has nothing but praise for her new son-in-law and she’s “delighted” for her eldest daughter.
Speaking on 2FM’s Breakfast Republic with her daughter, Morah opened up about the big day.
“It was fantastic. We were all all very emotional on the day, which I didn’t think we would be.” she said.
“Fabio has been around for a long time. It was great and I’m delighted for them both.”
When asked whether she prefers Lottie or her new son-in-law, Morah jokingly responded saying: “Fabio.”
The newlyweds will celebrate their recent marriage with family and friends in Italy this May.
