Global sensation Michael Bublé appeared on last night’s Late Late Show, and treated the audience to a massive surprise.
During his 2018 appearance on the show, the Canadian singer/songwriter helped couple David O’Reagan and Ashley Kiely get engaged, and the pair returned to the studio last night to see him again. Deciding to play an April Fools’ joke, Michael sat in the audience beside them wearing a face mask, massive sunglasses, and a puffy PVC coat.
Host Ryan Tubridy, who was obviously in one the joke, began chatting with the couple, asking about their wedding plans. When the subject of a wedding singer came up, David explained they hadn’t found one yet, joking they were “waiting for Michael.” So Ryan suggested; “Why don’t you ask him? He is sitting beside you.”
As Michael jumped up and took off the mask and sunglasses, shocking and delighting the entire audience.

With Michael then hugging and chatting to David and Ashley.
It wasn’t the only fun Michael and Ryan had that night, as, in a treat normally reserved for The Late Late Toy Show, Ryan actually sang during the episode.
Taking to the stage with the “Haven’t Met You Yet” singer, he and Michael sang a duet performing Frank Sinatra’s hit song “You Make Me Feel so Young.”
Earlier in the day, Ryan mentioned duetting with the award winning musician. Taking to his Instagram story Ryan shared the guests for the show captioning the post with a sticker of Michael, and writing; “Can’t wait for our duet.”
Ryan also shared some behind the scenes insights on the rehearsal. Post a video where he showed off the set and the band practicing. Saying; “We’re into rehearsal at this time, the brass section is having a little. And look at this, the image of Bublé is there somewhere. And I’m…hmm, in a few minds.”
The Late Late Show won’t be Michael’s only appearance chatting to an Irish celeb this week. As the jazz singer will also be sitting down with comedian Doireann Garrihy, for her podcast The Laughs Of Your Life.
Doireann announced the news on social media sharing a snap of her and Michael with the caption; “🚨 NOT A DRILL 🚨 The Laughs Of Your Life with @michaelbuble is coming this Monday 😭😘🎶💃🏻🕺🏻 It’s not a pinch me moment, it’s a pinch me DAY! 🥳✨🎧😭🙌🏻❤️”
Fans of the podcast were thrilled and it seems even some famous faces will be listening to the episode. As radio presenter Laura Fox commented; “STOP ITTTTTTT!!!!!!! OmysweetbabyJ!!!!!!!”
While model Shauna Lindsay, said; “Go on girl 👏👏”
While Paralympian Ellen Keane just hoped Michael was ready; “Oh my GOODNESS!!! I hope he listened to all the recent episodes to prepare 😅”
