Since Ryan Tubridy announced his departure from The Late Late Show later this year, several people have been tipped to replace him.
Miriam O’Callaghan confirmed that she would not be taking on the role after speculation mounted.
Now Mairead Ronan has hinted that she could get the job.
Well, sort of.
She took to Instagram to share the odds of her taking on the prestigious role.
She shared the odds of her winning Dancing with the Stars when she was announced back in 2019 which saw her at 18/1.
However, after the 12 weeks so picked up the Glitterball trophy.
So she rightfully points out that no matter the odds she could be in the hot seat come the autumn.

According to the bookies, her odds of her getting the gig are 40 to one.
She made sure it was clear that she was joking as she shared a scene of Dumb and Dumber that saw Jim Carey’s character get turned down by Lauren Holly’s character.
When he asked was there a chance that they could have a romantic connection, she responded: “One in a million.“
“So you’re telling me there’s a chance!“ he then replies which is exactly what Mairead captioned the satirical post.
