Niall Horan released his debut solo single earlier this month and has already broken huge records with the track, This Town.
By now it would be feasible to think that most pop fans would have heard the former One Direction star’s song, especially after performing it on the coveted Graham Norton Show last week- but this is not the case.
Speaking to Tracey Clifford on 2FM yesterday Louis Walsh admitted that he has yet to hear Niall’s song, but he wishes him the best of luck with it.
“I actually haven’t heard it, would you believe it? I’ve been working so hard I haven’t seen it or haven’t heard it.
“But best of luck to him. Lucky guy, right time, right place,” he said.
The music mogul also spoke about the harsh words he had for the band earlier this week when he labeled them as “monsters,” but he backtracked and said it just all happened so quickly for the five young teens.
“They’re not exactly monsters but they got it all so quickly. They showed up, Simon put them together- never gets the credit for some of these things, he literally put them together, he made it all happen for them. I know.
“He got them the best songwriters, the best producers. They were just the luckiest five people in the world. They’ve great songs and best of luck to them,” he said.
