Lottie Ryan has opened up about her stunning Italian wedding earlier this year, admitting her dad would have enjoyed every minute of it.
The 2fm star married her long-term love Fabio Aprile in Casalattico, surrounded by family and close friends.
Lottie knows Gerry was watching over her throughout the big day, and thanks him for making the sun come out just in time for the ceremony.
“It lashed rain the two days before the wedding and when I woke up the morning of, it was the hottest day of the year,” she told the RTE Guide.
“I was like, ‘Thank God, you have to be useful for something up there’.”
She continued, “There was no negative thinking, he was there in whatever capacity it was.
“Obviously it was emotional but not in a negative way.
“He would have been outrageously happy and he would have loved the day that we planned and loved every second of it.”
For the day itself, the beautiful bride opted for a stunning white gown with an embellished bodice, paired with a beautiful white headpiece, while Fabio wore a simple black suit.
