Lisa Cannon has opened up about starting a family with Richard Keatley.
The tv presenter has had a tumultuous 2016, after being axed from Xpose, the show that she had been apart of for ten years, however, she’s now looking forward to the new year and is eager to start a family with her husband of one year.
“I am looking at a family,” she told the Irish Daily Mail’s TV Week. “I have never tapped into that. That is something that is a big aspect and something that Richard and I are talking about. Of course I would love kids and who wouldn’t want to procreate with Richard Keatley, he is gorgeous.
“We want to look at family as an avenue”
Speaking about the Xpose shake-up, the brunette beauty has admitted that although she was disappointed and upset when she was told she would not be part of the show’s new line-up, she was still able to see the positive side of the situation.
“I had an inkling that something was going to happen – and wondered how it would pan out.” she said. “So obviously when I was the change that was disappointing to say the least.
“When you are told you won’t be rejoining the show it’s hard news to hear. It’s like a break up. It’s like being told ‘it’s not you, it’s me’.
“I was able to consider the flip side, which was that I was being given this opportunity as an anchor for Weekend AM. There were so many things happening at the same time that I had to get my head around.”
