It’s not every day you get nominated for an Oscar.

Kerry Condon is up for Best Supporting Actress this year for her role in The Banshees of Inisherin. Her on-screen brother, Colin Farrell, is also up for Best Actor this year.

So it’s understandable that they decided to watch the Oscar nominations roll in together.

However, Kerry admits that she wasn’t sure if she was up for watching them with other people as she was nervous about not being nominated.

Speaking to The Sun, she explained that she was going to turn off her phone and let her manager tell her if she had been nominated.

“I was trying to be all cool so if I didn’t get it, I could take that moment privately and get myself together,” she explained.

But if Colin Farrell invites you to something, you definitely don’t say no.

“I had to debate that for three hours because I was like, ‘What if one of us gets it and the other one doesn’t? Do I want to experience this massive moment with other people?'”

At the last minute, she agreed to watch the show with Colin and they were both nominated for Oscars along with their co-stars Barry Keoghan and Brendan Gleeson.
