It was great news for the Republic of Ireland team last night, as they won their World Cup qualifying match against Georgia in the Aviva stadium. However, one player took a major hit during yesterday’s game.
Robbie Brady collided with Georgia’s defender Solomon Kverkvelia in the second half of the game, leaving him on the ground. Hero of the European Championships Brady had to be taken off in a stretcher by medical staff.
Concerned girlfriend Kerrie Harris was by his side as he was taken to hospital to be examined. Luckily, the midfielder is doing ok but the whole experience gave Kerrie quite a scare.
She took to Snapchat last night to thank fans for their messages of support for her longterm love. Alongside a pic of the pair she wrote, “Thanks for all the messages and concern…this guy gave us a fright tonight.”
