Keith Duffy has opened up about details of his return to hit soap Coronation Street. The former Boyzone singer played the part of barman Ciaran McCarthy on the show between 2002 and 2011.
Dublin native Keith has now said that he’s love to return to the cobbles eventually, but has no plan in place to do so just yet. He’s currently focussing on his music, and touring with fellow Dublin boyband star, Brian McFadden.
Speaking to Saoplife Keith said, “Corrie is something that’s never left me. Everywhere I go, I still get people coming up and talking to me about.
“Coronation Street was a huge part of my life. I was there for 10 years on and off, from 2002 to 2011. I loved the character of Ciaran and I’d like to think that, one day, he’ll be back on the cobbles, causing more trouble and stirring things up.”
