Former Fair City actor Johnny Ward has confirmed that he will be walking down the aisle.
The actor popped the question to his girlfriend, Brenda Murphy while with her family.
In a video, Johnny could be seen walking up to the love of his life who was sitting at the dinner table.
She clapped her hand over her mouth as he dropped down onto one knee and offered her the ring.

“SHE SAID YES!!!!” he enthused on social media.
“Delighted to finally announce that my best friend said Yes! Brenda and I are getting married July 2023.
Thank you for making me the happiest man in the world. Love you more than anything.”

His comment section was quickly flooded with congratulatory messages with his friends and followers rushing to wish the happy couple well.
“Congrats Guys,” Michelle McGrath wrote.
Miss Ireland Pamela Uba added, “Congratulations.”
“Total babes!!!! Congratulations!!! xxx,” Johnny’s former Fair City co-star Jenny Lee Dixon commented, while Holly Carpenter exclaimed, “Omg congratulations!”
The Love/Hate star has been with Brenda since February 2021 after he ran to her aid when she tripped while out walking on the Curragh in Kildare.
His fiancée runs a salon in Dunlavin, Co Wicklow.
Johnny split with his ex-girlfriend Rachel after six years together in 2019 before briefly dating UK dancer Emily Barker after they were paired together during Dancing With The Stars.
