Rumours are definitely sparking that Irish content creator Charleen Murphy could potential be our next Love Island star.
She just came home from Coachella with Lucinda Strafford, who is well known in the Love island universe. Lucinda has appeared on the franchise a total of four times, so if Charleen is going in, she’s most likely been well versed.
During the Coachella weekend, the pair shared all their amazing outfits and eye-catching accessories, like their Chanel bags and noteworthy headpieces.

Charleen’s last relationship was with footballer, Dani Mandroiu , who was mostly referred to as Dano on her social media. The couple were very public with their relationship, sharing videos and photos together constantly.
After four years of being together, Charleen shared the news they broke up in January on a TikTok live. She indicated that they had split due to personal decisions and that ‘’nothing bad’’ had happened, but she needed to end for it herself and step away from the pressures of the relationship.
So, could Love Island be in Charleen’s future? Her comments on social media are always filled with fans begging her to go on the show saying she would be brilliant on it and would probably win due to her charismatic and bubbly persona.

Charleen had previously auditioned for the show in 2020 but never made it into the villa.
She recently did a catch up Q&A on her Instagram and one follower asked , “Are you back dating?’’ to which Charleen replied with a pouting selfie to Lily Allen’s song Hard Out Here with the lyrics ,”It’s hard out here for a bitch.”
So, it’s confirmed she currently single, ticking off one the requirements for Love Island.

The Sun are reporting that Charleen is being lined up to take part in series 13 of Love Island this summer, and apparently her bestie Lucinda even gave her an endorsement.
A source said: “Charleen split from her boyfriend earlier this year and Lucinda told ITV bosses they should get her on the show.
“She’s really gorgeous and fun and has a lot of Irish charm – she’s been friends with Lucinda for years so of course Lucinda would put a word in for her.’’

Charleen has also previously talked about possibly going on the show: “I would consider [Love Island]. But the more I think about it, I think, do I really want to go down that route? Because once you do Love Island, that’s all you’re really known for…’”
The Love Island lineup is typically announced in late May to early June, just a few days before the series is set to begin on June 1 or June 8.
Only time will tell and fingers crossed we see this Irish icon on our screens this summer.
