Stephanie Davis has returned to social media to share her excitement over her imminent baby shower.
The former Hollyoaks actress announced she was expecting her first child back in May, shortly after she split with Irish model Jeremy McConnell.
Although her due date isn’t until January, Stephanie sparked concern with fans last week after she stopped updating her social media accounts and rumors started surfacing that she had given birth.
However, last Sunday her publicist confirmed to OK! magazine that she was in hospital but hadn’t given birth, and was undergoing tests for a mystery illness.
“Stephanie Davis has been subject to a number of rumours online the last few days regarding her pregnancy. We can confirm Stephanie has been in hospital since Wednesday 2nd November due to an illness and is currently undergoing further tests. We would like to confirm that Stephanie has not given birth and her unborn baby boy is doing well.”
Stephanie returned home from hospital on Monday, and today she took to Twitter to assure fans she’s recovering well and is excited for her baby shower this weekend.
“Feeling loads better, thank goodness. Time to celebrate my beautiful baby boy’s arrival. Starting tomorrow. Baby shower weekend.”
