Ireland’s Conor McGregor had the hopes of a nation on his shoulders last night as he took on the undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather in what was the most anticipated fight of the year.
Sadly, despite putting on an incredible showing, The Notorious bowed out after 10 rounds, and Mayweather extended his record to 50-0.
The Crumlin man revealed in his post match interview that he “will learn and will be back,”
Fans wasted no time in paying tribute to their hero, with many saying they were proud no matter what.
