Rory McIlroy and new wife Erica Stoll had anti-drone technology in place at their wedding venue to keep away all unwanted attention.
The golfer wed his American fiance in Ashford Castle in Co. Mayo over the weekend, with a whole host of celebrity pals, such as Stevie Wonder and Niall Horan in attendance.
The notoriously private couple went to extreme security measures to make sure no unofficial snaps were taken, using high quality technology to detect any drones in the area.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, Drone Defence worker Richard Gill said that any drones over the area were “taken under our control by special technology or they are disabled by the use of a deployed net.”
The couple have yet to share any official snaps from the big day.
