Can Laura Whitmore do anything wrong lately? The tv host, who is growing increasingly successful on the small screen, has seen profits from her media firm soar to over €520,000.
The I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Now! presenter is clearly reaping the benefits from being so in-demand on television in the UK, having hosted shows on ITV, MTV, Channel 4 and the BBC.
Wicklow-born Laura, one of Ireland’s most successful broadcasters operating abroad had a bumper year last year, according to accounts. The cash pile at Laura Whitmore Ltd rose by £152,479, or 70%, from £216,996 to £369,476 (€521,286) in the 12 months to the end of last March.
During that same period, the company’s accumulated profits increased by £131,879 or 67% from £196,559 to £328,438. And at the end of March 2012, the 30-year-old’s firm’s accumulated profits stood at £20,648 with cash of £26,982 showing that her profits have increased 15-fold in the space of three years with her cash pile increasing 13-fold during the same period.
Laura has just begun presenting the I’m a Celebrity….spin off with co-host Joe Swash, which she has worked on since 2011. She recently quit MTV News after seven years to leave her open to more projects.
