Glenda Gilson has stood up for co-host, Cassie Stokes after she was subject to homophobic hate mail.
Cassie has always been honest and about her sexuality and the majority of the public have been supportive of the host after she came out, however recently, some bullies sent an anonymous postcard to her place of work in TV3 labelling her ‘bent’ and ‘queer’.
Glenda has spoken out about the hurtful postcard saying this kind of bullying is “disgusting in this day and age.”
The model also said to the Irish Daily Mail, “I just think it was odd and strange in this day and age that someone could take the time to write a message like that, hate mail, and send it into her on the back of a postcard where anyone can read it.”
The Dublin native went on to say that the majority of attention the Xpose presenters get is positive, so they just have to “take the good with the bad.”
