Glenda Gilson left her usual spot in TV3 yesterday evening as she was flown over to London to appear on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.
The Xpose host was invited to go on the show by Rylan Clark two months ago at the launch of Big Brother: Timebomb in Dublin.
The glam presenter said she didn’t expect his promise to come to fruition, but was absolutely thrilled when it did.
“Honestly, I didn’t think anything would come of it but fair play to Rylan. He is a man of his word,” she told Evoke.ie.
Speaking about her relationship with Rylan, Glenda added: “I got on really well with him. We just got on like a house on fire.”
Glenda went to London for the night to spend some time in the swanky Channel 5 studio, and while on the show she chatted to previous winner Craig Phillips, who won the very first Big Brother back in 2000. She was also joined by Eileen Daly, who has only recently been evicted from the house.
“It was a laugh a minute and I loved every second of it. They were very welcoming and it was just a great laugh,” she said.
