He’s finally here!

It’s been eight years in the making but Garth Brooks himself has finally touched down in Ireland.

The country singer will play his five gigs in Croke Park over the next two weekends to the delight of diehard fans.

There won’t be a stetson to be found in the country as thousands of music lovers descend on the capital for his sold-out shows.

Dublin Airport added to the hysteria as they shared a video of Garth’s plane touching down on Irish soil just a few days before he will take to the stage in Croke Park.

Dublin Airport tweeted: “We’re bringing in friends from high places…”

“He’s here! @garthbrooks has arrived on Irish soil (well, concrete actually) ahead of his 5 concerts in Dublin’s @CrokePark over the next two weekends. We’re ready for The Dance…”

He emerged from the plane hand-in-hand with his wife and fellow country singer Trisha Yearwood. He looked relaxed in his signature baseball cap, black jacket, jeans and brown boots.

During his stay in Ireland it is believed he will split his time between Dublin and Kerry as he will have a four-day break in between his first three shows and his last two.

There is no confirmation of where exactly he will be staying in the Kingdom but The Kerryman reports he may make himself at home for the week in Churchtown House in Beaufort.

It is only 25 minutes from Kerry Airport, where Garth is expected to fly from for his concerts.

Unfortunately, it looks like he won’t be making friends in high or low places as he will be remaining in a “COVID bubble” during his time in Ireland.

“Garth won’t be meeting anybody. He will be in a COVID bubble as the most important man in Croke Park. If anything happened to me or one of my staff, it wouldn’t matter. But if Garth was to get sick, our shows wouldn’t happen,” Aiken’s promotions Peter Aiken told The Sun.

“Garth will stay in that bubble from the moment he lands in Ireland.”

Garth Brooks will play Croke Park on the 9th, 10th and 11th of September before returning for the 16th and 17th
