Season seven of Game of Thrones has only been off or screens a little over a month, and we are already dying for information on the eighth and final season.

With spoilers emerging and episodes being leaked online throughout season seven, HBO network bosses have revealed that they are taking major measures to ensure that season eight is kept as secret as possible, even going as far as filming multiple endings.

“I know in Game of Thrones, the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really know what happens,” HBO Head Of Programming Casey Bloys revealed.

“You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end.”

Irish actor Liam Cunningham, who plays Ser Davos Seaworth in the award winning show, has revealed that security measures are tighter than ever ahead of the beginning of filming.

“Let me tell you what I know. Yesterday something quite monumental happened. I got the scripts for the last season. Kind of,” he told IGN at New York Comic Con

“I got them all – I can’t open them because of all the security and I can’t walk them out.

“I went ‘I’m not touching it I don’t care’, because it’s like pulling the pin out of a grenade.”

“Tomorrow I fly back to Ireland and the first table reading is on Sunday. The second table reading is on Monday. Then we rehearse and then start shooting the week after.

“My ambition was to get to the last season and now I’ve got to the last season, I’ve got to get to the last episode.”

We can’t wait to see what they have in store!
