Ryan Tubridy really is packing those guests before he leaves The Late Late Show behind him at the end of May.
This week’s first guest has been revealed and it’s a good ‘un!
Ryan will sit down to chat with Ed Sheeran for an exclusive chat with the singer before his album Subtract is released.
The interview will be pre-recorded so don’t expect Ed to be wandering around Grafton Street this weekend.
Ed’s chat with Ryan comes after his Irish grandmother sadly passed away.
Anne Mary Sheeran, who was the inspiration for his song Nancy Mulligan, passed away at the age of 98.
Anne, whose maiden name was Mulligan, of Craan, Craanford in Gorey passed away peacefully on 25th April at Castle Gardens Nursing Home in Enniscorthy.
Her death notice on RIP.ie reads: “Beloved wife of the late Bill and loving mother of Jim, Bill, Peter, Chris, John, MaryAnne, Bridget and the late Sally and sister of the late Thomas, Jim, May and Peggy. Deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, niece, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.”
The Late Late Show airs on RTÉ One & RTÉ Player on Friday, May 5th at 9:35pm
