A massive congratulations is in order, as Fair City star Clelia Murphy is reportedly set to marry her longtime love Neil Casley.
Clelia, best known for her role as Niamh Cassidy in the RTÉ soap, and Neil recently got engaged, with him popping the question.
Speaking about the engagement, a source told The Irish Mail on Sunday: “Clelia was blown-away. When they reconnected it brought all those teenage flutters back. So when he asked her to marry him, it really was a case of an offer that was never going to be refused.”
Clelia left Fair City in 2017 after an impressive 22 years on the series.
Following her exit from the soap, she took on a new challenge, and hit the dance floor, in Dancing With The Stars in 2019. She is currently starring in the BBC’s hit series Doctors, playing nurse Maeve Ludlow. For the project, Clelia relocated to Birmingham, England, where the show is filmed.
She also starred in Channel 5’s series The Madame Blanc Mysteries, back in 2021.
