Speaking about the engagement back in September, a source told The Irish Mail on Sunday: “Clelia was blown-away. When they reconnected it brought all those teenage flutters back. So when he asked her to marry him, it really was a case of an offer that was never going to be refused.”

The couple have been together since they were teenagers, and currently live in England due to Clelia’s work.

She is currently starring in the BBC’s hit series Doctors, playing nurse Maeve Ludlow. For the project, Clelia relocated to Birmingham, where the show is filmed.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!
