Everyone fell in love with this 81-year-old singer on Ireland’s Got Talent

Last night saw the debut of brand new show Ireland’s Got Talent on TV3, and it went down VERY well.

Whether it was variety acts, dance routines, or naked men in towels, there was something for everyone in last night’s opening show,

But there was one act that really got people talking.

The final act of the night was 81-year-old Dublin granny Evelynn Willams. Viewers immediately fell in love with the Tallaght native after hearing her story of how she was performing for her late husband.

Evelynn sang a stunning version of Send In The Clowns, and was good enough to earn judge Michelle Visage’s golden buzzer, sending her right through to the semi-finals of the competition.
