2023 was a massive year for Doireann Garrihy.
She started the year with her new role as co-presenter of Dancing with the Stars, she got engaged to her partner, Mark Mehigan and moved into her perfect home.
As she shared some interior videos of her home, she remarked that remodelling her first home is her “biggest achievement to date”.
In the clip, the building goes from a shell to a picture-perfect home.
“Still can’t believe this is home,” she captioned the video.
“An old house, but a brand new house! My biggest achievement to date with the help of SO many…but particularly my Dad. Having a carpenter to hand is something I will never again take for granted! Forever indebted to Euge.
“I’ll share snippets as the months go on and the house comes together more and more but for now, here is the hall and stairs! I’ve had so many questions about the floors over the last few weeks, they are Pembroke Oak from @doherty_flooring and the carpet is boucle in the colour Quarry also from @doherty_flooring – the table is a console from @_doylesdesigns , the lovely Tony there made it from scratch as I needed the depth to be just right for the narrowness of the hall – the mirror is from @cadesign.ie – cannot recommend them enough.
“I ordered my kitchen table and chairs with them and have gone back for more bits because their stuff is just so gorgeous.”

She was inundated with comments, including Rosanna Davison, who wrote: “It’s beautiful! Congratulations.”
