Kayleigh Trappe has announced that she is moving into the next stage of her life.

She is on top of the world in 2026 with her social media career going from strength to strength. She is also enjoying the world of being a fiancée after her partner popped the question in 2025.

Now she has shared a “bittersweet” life update.

She explained that she has officially resigned from her teaching post in a Monaghan primary school.

“Bittersweet day. 3 years ago I took a career break from Primary Teaching. Today I visited my school and officially resigned my teaching post. Not an easy decision at all. Infact, I cried every time I tried to write the letter but it’s time to pass on the batton,” she wrote on Instagram.

“I adore working with kiddos in every capacity and I can see myself back in the classroom acting the maggot but not just yet.

“Thank you to St.Mary’s Threemilehouse, Monaghan for allowing me time to explore and always supporting me along the way. One in a million. Grá mĂłr.”

Kayleigh previously told VIP Magazine about her busy schedule.

“I’ve been here, there and everywhere. I always say I’m like Sudocrem, you can find me everywhere. One minute I’m doing lip syncs and then the next I’m dolled up to go to the awards,” she said.

“I’ve been doing bits and bobs of TV. I always say I want to keep the ball rolling all the time, and the ball is still rolling.”

And she teased what’s next for her, confessing it’s “all go”.

“Summertime is very busy coming up but in a good way. I love stepping into different roles. The ultimate dream for me is a bit more acting. I’m mad to get back on stage and on the screen.”

She previously had a guest role on Fair City and she has her fingers crossed for a return.

“They never killed me off. The door is still ajar there, I would like to think.

“Just give me a script, give me a director and just say action – that’s my favourite thing in the world. I loved doing it as a child and now I get to do it now it’s really nice.”
