Dermot Bannon has got his sights set on Conor McGregor’s home for his next project.
Room to Improve has become increasingly popular over the last few seasons and the resident architect is already thinking of guests for the next one.
Fans loved watching Dermot battle it out with Daniel O’Donnell and wife Majella in order to achieve their dream home last season.
So with such a popular celebrity special, we can’t wait to see which popular Irish star will appear on the show next.
Dermot revealed that MMA fighter Conor McGregor is at the top of his list, but joked that it wouldn’t be an easy task.
“Imagine getting into a row with the Notorious, there’s no way we’d win it.
“I’d love to do up Mrs Brown’s house or Conor McGregor’s – now that would be cool.”
Speaking of the show’s success, Dermot put’s it down to Ireland being a curious nation.
“I don’t think there’s anything else on the telly on a Sunday maybe that’s why it’s such a success.
“If I could bottle it I would, but it’s nosiness on the part of the viewer, I don’t question it, I just keep making it and every year, it’s not that I feel like you’re a fraud but, I think people will find me out that I’m not that interesting.
“But they don’t, they keep watching me in their droves, we do work hard at it.”
