Trying to think of something to do this weekend? Well, why not head to the cinema!
National Cinema Weekend is back with all tickets costing just €4 at participating cinemas.
The initiative will give audiences the chance to enjoy multiple films at a reduced rate across two days.
Yes, that’s right for the first time, ticket prices will be reduced for two days on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September.

Approximately 99 per cent of cinemas in the Republic of Ireland will participate in this initiative, offering a wide variety of new and recent releases for audiences to enjoy, including family favourites that all the family can enjoy as a treat as schools have just reopened.
Cinemas in every county in the Republic of Ireland are participating, meaning easy access for audiences to big screen entertainment in their home county across the weekend.

Cinemagoers across National Cinema Weekend will also be able to benefit from additional screenings catering to diverse audiences including sensory screenings, along with additional subtitled and captioned screenings at various cinemas.
Tickets can be purchased online and at the box office from 5pm on Sunday 30th August. Audiences are advised to check local cinema listings and can also check online as a central online location to check out what’s screening at their local cinema for National Cinema Weekend.
