Clémentine MacNeice shares how to pronounce her son’s unique name

Stylist Clémentine MacNeice is clearing up some confusion over her son’s name.

She welcomed her first child in April and revealed his stunning name just a few weeks later. Posting a video of the tot sleeping in his rocker at home with the caption: “1 week of Marceau”. The gorgeous name is of French origin and means “little warrior”.

It’s an absolutely stunning moniker for her little man, and so naturally peaked plenty of interest, with some fans wanting to make sure they were pronouncing it correctly.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Clémentine reply to a follower asking how to pronounce Marceau. With the stylist explaining: “The French pronunciation is MAHR-SOH (I think that’s the best way of doing it phonetically) Or MAR-SOH the non French way!!”

“As a half Frenchie I always knew I wanted a French name for him and we both adored Marceau,” she shared. 

Clémentine announced her sons birth last month.

Sharing the good news on social media a handful of days after welcoming her little boy.

The stylist posted a black-and-white shot of her holding her son in hospital with her husband by her side.

“19.04.2023 Our beautiful boy is here. Hard to put this feeling into words, the best day of our lives,” she wrote.
