We have been obsessed with all of the wedding and honeymoon content from Irish celebs over the past few months, one honeymoon that looked truly out of this world was stylist Clementine MacNeice’s.
Clem jetted off to the Maldives after tying the knot and it looked like a dream.
Sharing some snaps at the time, she said; “A little slice of heaven. Still can’t believe we are actually here.”
In a recent q&a Clem was asked if she’d recommend the Maldives for a honeymoon to which she didn’t hesitate to say YES!
“1000% yes!!! We only booked our honeymoon a few weeks before the wedding with travel restrictions, covid etc. The travel agent recommended the Maldives as the safest place to go at the time.
“We always said we would go to Vietnam or Thailand for [our] honeymoon Jamie hasn’t been and I’m dying to go back) but that wasn’t possible with covid, and I’m glad it wasn’t because we would never have gone to Maldives!!
“Honest to God, it is literally, heaven on earth. The people are so friendly, the food is amazing, then where do you even begin with the setting- it’s like nowhere I’ve ever been before…”
“We looked at a few places Trailfinders recommended and chose @heritanceaarah in the end pretty much based on the food /restaurant reviews and we wanted to experience a seaplane too. It was heaven!! Also for anyone who’s worried they’ll be bored, there is so much to do, especially if you like diving, sea sports etc.”
It all sounds amazing, but is there anything Clem would change? Only that she wishes she had more time!
“If we could do it again I would prob have stayed longer than a week instead of doing Dubai after!” she wrote.
