Kathryn Thomas revealed that Celebrity Operation Transformation will be returning to our screens in a matter of weeks.
Last summer the debut series of the celebrity weight-loss show aired, and proved hugely popular with stars such as Katherine Lynch and Elaine Crowley taking part.
Speaking to VIP Magazine yesterday at the launch of the Are Lingus Aer Club, Kathryn said that production is due to start on the reality show soon. However, she didn’t let us in on who the prospective celebs for this year’s challenge are.
“Celebrity Operation Transformation is kicking off in the next six weeks, in terms of production on that. Really looking forward to getting stuck into that again. And then Operation Transformation will be back in January.”
While on the topic of television, the 38-year-old admitted that she was a huge fan of RTE’s Dancing With The Stars. She also didn’t rule out competing on the show herself at some stage.
“I just thought it was brilliant. It was an incredible production, I thought the skill and the level of improvement week on week was phenomenal.
“I was secretly hoping one of the girls would win. I was with Denise the whole way and then to see Aoibhin come on, but to see himself (Aidan) come on as well, and everyone said he was most improved, it was just brilliant.
“I think I’m an incredible dancer! But when you’re out on the dance floor having a night out bopping around with your mates is one thing, but then when you see the level of skill that they come out with you know, it’s amazing.
“I’d love the opportunity to learn a skill like that. I wouldn’t do it maybe this year or next year but possibly. It’s something that i would consider for sure,” she said.
